I have been using Jabref for a long time, but since v. 5 the “autosearch” option is quite annoying. Is there a way to disable it? Having many pdf’s, as soon as I start typing author=xxx in the search field, JabRef begins to look for all “a” 's, then all “au” 's then all “aut” 's in my library and it becomes very slow. It would be way more efficient if I could first type the search query, then hit enter, and finally get the result. Is there a way to do so? Thanks.
