Dear all,

I am trying to install the last version of JabRef 4 for OS X (JabRef\_macos\_4\_0\_0-beta.dmg) but the installation did not work. I run the following commands bellow to make sure that I have the correct java versions. My java version seems fine for me, but please let me know if you have any idea how I could fix this problem.

Many thanks, Fernando

java -version

java version "1.8.0\_131"
Java™ SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0\_131-b11)
Java HotSpot™ 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.131-b11, mixed mode)

/usr/libexec/java\_home -verbose

Matching Java Virtual Machines (3):
1.8.0\_131, x86\_64: “Java SE 8” /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0\_131.jdk/Contents/Home
1.6.0\_65-b14-466.1, x86\_64: “Java SE 6” /System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk/Contents/Home

Hi,

are there any error messages or a concrete problem?
Does something from [https://help.jabref.org/en/FAQosx](https://help.jabref.org/en/FAQosx) help you?

Stefan
