# Open BibTeX file through the file browser

When double click a BibTeX file in the file browser, then JabRef opens with message “File not found”.  
The file opens only through the menu of Jabref: File–\> Open…

I’m facing the same issue after upgrade “error opening file “abc.bib” file not found”

Seems like something with the file association is wrong.  
Could you please open an issue at our bug tracker? [https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/issues](https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/issues)
