# Open pdf file with Jabref

Can I open a pdf file with Jabref? If not, are there any pdf to bib conversion applications?

“By opening a pdf file with JabRef”, i guess that you want to add to your bibliographic database the references of this paper.  
Answer is yes 🙂.

Drag-and-drop your pdf in the entry editor, and you will see this window:
