# Unable to get PubMed IDs

Hello there, I recently encountered a problem with JabRef (v5.0) fetching information via PubMed IDs. When pasting PubMed IDs in the query form the error message is as follows:

Version 5.0 is kind of old now. I would recommend to upgrade to JabRef 5.3 first ([Download JabRef latest release](https://www.fosshub.com/JabRef.html)), and see if this still happens.
