Bib file shared by Google Drive

Our team uses JabRef a long time to edit a bibtex database stored in a shared Google Drive folder. All external changes made in the opened bib file were tracked properly. But now there are a lot of conflicts due to “sav” files stored in the same folder like bib. Is it possible to move sav file to the OS temp directory or make a possibility to choose a custom prefix for it?

did you check the options for: Backup General files when saving and Autosave?

Hi,
if you mean “Backup old file when saving” & “Autosave local databases” in Options->Preferences->File, they are checked and unchecked respectively. But these checkboxes don’t influence on creation of *.bib.sav files… Or do you mean other options?
