The LaTeX citations tab in the entry editor is a great tool, but for all those writing their reports in rmarkdown useless. It would be great to also let it find citations in .rmd files, ideally in the same (as it is basically the same), or in an extra type.

If you edit your post to include a brief “survey”, you can activate others to voice whether they also like this feature.
Sorry, but when I wanted to do that I was notified that I did not have the user rights allowing me to do a survey. Maybe you could just add one?
