Doi info in xml output

Simply adding a line like

biblioid class=“doi”>10.1007/s00018-008-7546-z</biblioid

adds a valid doi info to the xml output.(I had to remove < > signs)
How much efforts are necessary for this? Where can one trigger such a thing?

(With oxygen 20 you get directly a doi link in the epub, with some change in XSL also in the PDF.)

Hi,

could you please add some more details to which output format you are referring, too?
JabRef supports multiple export formats, where some of them are all a kind of XML dialect, so some more details owuld be helpful

Sorry, I use docbook output here. Best would be docbook5, but I would also be content with docbook 4, since there are only three (four) items to be changed to make a docbook 5 output from db4. The brackets are whether there is a weblink or not.
