Hello, I am using JabRef 5.5 on Windows 11, with about 200 entries. The program is using around 800 MB to 1 GB of RAM. Is this normal? Is there any way to reduce this?
I tried to search the forum, but the posts I found were related to older versions.
I tried with an empty library as well, there I had about 300 MB usage, which jumped to 860 MB after pasting the first entry and went further up above 900 MB. This entry did find a PDF link automatically, but did not link or download it. I read about PDF full text indexing in other posts and other things that might happen right after creating a new entry, so I left JabRef open for another 20 minutes, to see if usage drops again, but memory usage remained at a high level. CPU usage was at just 0.8% every few seconds.
