Allow user to focus on note-taking on an entry

I use JabRef in two ways: (a) to manage loads of different references, (b) to take and manage notes on a specific reference.

While the first function works well for me, I hope for more support for users who use JabRef also in the second way.

Here is the specific proposal, consisting of two elements:

  • Allow the user to open a field of the entry editor in its own window (that I can expand to fill the complete screen, to not be distracted by anything else).
  • Allow the use to enter eg html or markdown (etc) formatted notes in that field.

In my setup, I would open the field Note or Annote to edit such rich text notes. This is something I need for every third reference I work with, as I use JabRef to store summaries and comments on the entry.
