Generation of citation keys when creating Article entry from DOI

Hi,

Citation key generation works perfectly well except when creating an article from the DOI.
In this case, the old citation key model is used.

Do you know how to ensure that the generation of citation key is correct as soon as the information is imported from the DOI?

Thanks for the answer.

It made me realize that I had a way of importing my articles that wasn’t necessarily “correct” :
I used to create an empty article entry, and add DOI in DOI field and clicked on “Complete from DOI”.

That way, the generation of citation key is not the one I indicate on Settings.

BUT, if I click directly on “Import from ID”, it works ! everything is correct, faster and with the correct citation key.

There is even a faster way, you can directly paste the DOI on the main table and JabRef will automatically create the entry.
