Inherit data in entry fields

I would like to see inherited data in the entryfields. I’m working heavily with crossref and it’s a pain sometimes to doublecheck if really all is available from the reference, e.g. when I’ll use the article for citation in a LaTex document.

The data should appear, when crossref field has been set.

I do see the inherited data in the entryfields by now. However, it is not easily visible whether the data is inherited or belongs to that entry.

If this does not relate to your wish, I suggest you add a screenshot to indicate what it is you miss in the the latest master.

I do not, but only in the preview. What I would like (do you really have that?!) to have is something like that (it’s only an image)
