Is the platform-independent jar file no longer provided with 5.x series master?

Hi,

I notice that the latest snapshot development download page no longer contains the platform-independent jar file. Has a decision been taken by the developers to no longer provide this?

Hi,

it’s not longer possible to run the newest version as standalone jar file, this is due to the changes in java 11. Instead, we provide custom installer and portable versions which contain all necessary java classes and modules.
