JABREF 5.1 "Paste" command not working anymore in Mac OSX10.12

I updated from 5.0.xxx to 5.1 but the CMD+V (and menu selection of Paste too) does not work anymore to copy new bibtex reference like this one:

@ARTICLE{2020A&A…635A.188L,
author = {{Lin}, Sheng-Jun and {Pagani}, Laurent and {Lai}, Shih-Ping and
{Lef{`e}vre}, Charl{`e}ne and {Lique}, Fran{\c{c}}ois},
title = “{Physical and chemical modeling of the starless core L 1512}”,
journal = {\aap},
keywords = {astrochemistry, ISM: individual objects: L 1512, ISM: clouds, ISM: structure, ISM: abundances, ISM: kinematics and dynamics, Astrophysics - Astrophysics of Galaxies},
year = 2020,
month = mar,
volume = {635},
eid = {A188},
pages = {A188},
doi = {10.1051/0004-6361/201936877},
archivePrefix = {arXiv},
eprint = {2002.01346},
primaryClass = {astro-ph.GA},
adsurl = {https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2020A&A...635A.188L},
adsnote = {Provided by the SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System}
}

which I could copy here but not in Jabref anymore.

I have to return to previous version which I erased too quickly…

Hi,

you need to select an entry first to have the focus on the maintable. Then the pasting should work fine.
This is an issue which we noticed after the release.
It’s fixed in the current developmebt version (5.2) https://builds.jabref.org/master/

Hi,

what do you mean by “selecting an entry first” ? Usually, I click on “new article”, select the article{} text and replace it with CMD+V to paste the new reference.

LP

@lpagani You can directly paste the bibtex code on the maintable
