It would be lovely to have a setting option where one can select the stable version (currently reachable via “Check for updates”) and the development version. I see it as a selectable option between stable/dev options.
If one chooses the dev option in the setting, whenever the Check for update is clicked, it can update to the latest dev version.
Also, an internal update would be great to implement, by clicking Check for update >> if there is an update Update automatically (incrementally), or manually (reinstalling).
It gets really tiring to go to the website and download the app to Downloads, install, delete the installer, etc. etc. Please simplify the procedure.
