Use a entry tag "file_userA" instead of the common tag "file" for saving file locations

We share a common bibtex file among several collaborateurs.
Every user of the file would like add his/her personal file path to a PDF file on the local computer.
Our solution would be to not use the entry tag “file”, but instead use something like “file_userA”, “file_userB”, …

Lets say I am userA.
Then I do not care really about file_userB entries.
Can I tell Jabref that the information about the file path can now be found in the entries file_userA instead of file?
