Want to edit the code

Hi all,

Hope you’re healthy!

I’m new to jabref forum, basically i have install jabref 5.0 and worked on specific features and now i want to edit the code(just to check something) and for that i have also installed neatbeas IDE 7.2 RCI and downloaded the jabref code zip file. However, i cannot run or build the code, its giving me various error. As a beginner, i need to know which developing platform i need to install on my computer or how to run the code on neatbeans or any other IDE?
