Newest reference added always at top

(Jim Maas) #1

When I add a new reference, it is always at the top, i…e. reference number 1, until I add another, and then it moves into its correct alphabetical position. Am I doing something wrong? Is this common or known about?

Its done it on several versions, currently using development build of 4.0 from 27/9/2017.

Thx. J

When importing entries by the e.g. medline web search, they are marked and go to the top of the display.
When you unmark them, they goes directly to their respective alphabetically position. However, when using the New Bibtex entry dialogue and the DOI or Medline/Pubmed PMID for looking up citations, they are not labelled as new and go directly to their respective place.
