I use the authors formatter in one of my custom export layout.
I found that when a first name with two (or more) initials is already abbreviated (e.g. Racine, J.P.) the formatter, with the AuthorAbbr option set to “Initials”, will remove the last initials (resulting in this case in Racine, J.).
It seems to me that if the first name is already abbreviated, it should not be reabbreviated and the initials following the first one should not be removed. Is there a way to avoid that?
Note that this happens only when the initials are NOT separated by a space. When they are separated by a space (or a dash), everything works fine.
