Hi,
I’m running Jabref 5.9.
I changed my bibkey pattern and files have to be re-linked.
I was wondering why broken links are still showing. They are written as “not found” in orange but how I can suppress those links in batch? Using F7 found (some) of the “new” files but old links are never cleaned up.
Thanks
Mel
Hello Melanie
One option would be to use Edit > Automatic field editor
. Choose the file
field and clear content
. Afterwards, link all files via F7 again.
Before you do so, I would suggest to make a backup of your library though.
Thanks.
It works. Not that intuitive, though
Works for this use case since everything is automatically linked and didn’t have manual linking I would not have wanted to erase.

JabRef has a cleanup feature for it:
@melTr Would it be possible for you to include a description of it at user-documentation/en/finding-sorting-and-cleaning-entries/cleanupentries.md at main · JabRef/user-documentation · GitHub ?
