Can´t find connect button

ladies and gentlemen,

i´m new in jabref and tried to use it on a win10 machine with open office. i tried to connect jabref with my openoffice and failed. i can´t find the “connect button”. please, help.

Welcome,

check that you have opened the Openoffice/Libreoffice Panel: View > OpenOffice/LibreOffice.
The connect button is the icon in the associated panel on the top left (abvove Select style).

You also probably need to install LibreOffice, im not sure if OpenOffice is still supported.
