Using Hebrew and Check integrity

I have a lot of entries in Hebrew, and when I use the Check integrity all my Hebrew fields get the message “NON-ASCII encoded character found”
so it becomes totally usefulness
any ideas?

Hi,

Your library is probably in BibTeX mode. If you change it to biblatex (successor of BibTeX) the integrity check will no longer warn. Biblatex supports Unicode. You can change the library mode in the Library Properties dialog.

Background is that the original BibTeX Standard is from the 1980s and doesn’t have support for any Non-ASCII characters. Those have to be encoded using special LaTeX commands.
