Can I somehow fix the read status as the second column?

Hi.

I added the read status column to my entry table, but by default it is placed as the last column on the right.

I can manually move the column to the left, in my case as the second column, but once I close and reopen JabRef the read status is back on the left.

Is it possible to solve this?

Hi,
unfortunately it is not possible to modify the order of the “special fields”… I tried to implement this more than a year ago but it was tremendous effort - and was we are on the way to replace the main table with a new UI technology we decided to skip this for the moment.
