Mac 10.13.2 bugs JabRef 4

Dear Jabref 4,

On high sierra 10.13.2, I noticed several problems since I updated to JabRef 4 (in 4.1 and 4.2)

  1. Randomly Fields are not displayed after creating a new bib. entry. Top tabs only are visible and underneath a blank block. I need to restart Jabref to be able to see back again entr. fields
  2. Cannot quit jabref from the very top mac tab (next to the “apple” tab on the top left corner of the screen). I need to go to File and then quit or use the shortcut cmd+Q.
  3. Typing in Jabref field is now quite problematic. For instance, in the author field after typing the author last name to press the space key brings back the cursor before the Last name.

I’m sorry for the inconveniences you experience with the new JabRef 4. We are in the progress of migrating to a new user interface technology and sadly JabRef is thus currently not as stable as it used to be. These bugs were reported before (https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/issues/3616, https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/issues/3146, https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/issues/3471) and we working hard on resolving them. You may want to subscribe to these issues so that you get a notification as soon as the are fixed.
