Unicode or latex symbols in exports

I’m trying to make symbols work in standard exports of my bibliography. For example HTML lists.
I have a paper with the following title
title = {Revised records of atmospheric trace gases {CO_2}, \chem{CH_{4}}, \chem{N_{2}O}, and \chem{\delta^{13}C}-\chem{CO_{2}} over the last 2000~years from Law Dome, Antarctica}

The trouble is that when I export this it doesn’t seem to matter what format I select from exports, it does not render properly, i.e.
Revised records of atmospheric trace gases CO₂, CH₄, N₂O, and δ¹³C-CO₂ over the last 2000 years from Law Dome, Antarctica

What must I do to either enter appropriate latex or export correctly?

Hi,

the easiest way is to simply enter the Unicode title in JabRef. JabRef can handle Unicode fine.
And If you enter the Unicode stuff, you can also convert it back to latex stuff.
E.g.
Using JabRef’s inbuilt Uincode<->Latex converter it becomes

Revised records of atmospheric trace gases CO$_{2}$, CH$_{4}$, N$_{2}$O, and $\delta$\textsuperscript{1}\textsuperscript{3}C-CO$_{2}$ over the last 2000 years from Law Dome, Antarctica

Thanks very much.
